The Collect
family of products has been designed to meet all shop floor data collection
needs for almost any type of manufacturer or distributor.
Whatever data an organization requires from Time & Attendance through
Work-in-Process through Real-time data from automated production machinery,
the Collect family of products will meet your needs.
Collect Transaction Server
All Collect family members other than Collect Warehouse, which can operate
in standalone mode, require the basic transaction engine. The Collect
engine manages RF and non-RF communication, messaging, data extraction
and data mapping services and system configuration. Data extraction
and mapping services allow any Collect product to use data from any
ODBC compliant database for validation or other uses and write output
data to any database or application that may require updating.
Collect
Time & Attendance
The Time & Attendance system utilizes core Collect 2000 functionality
to make T&A available on mobile devices, touch screens, PC's and
fixed station data collection terminals. Users can specify employees,
shifts, supervisor-employee relationships, and early and late warning
and error intervals for both clock-in and clock-out times. Collect Time & Attendance
also provides request for leave / absence functionality with supervisor
approval routing. Collect 2000
Collect 2000 is the basic shop floor data collection system for the Collect
family of products. Collect 2000 supports all transaction that could
affect inventory and labor from purchase order receipt through shipment
of your finished goods to your customers. Collect 2000 may be implemented
as a system or phased in on a module by module basis as your business
data capture needs evolve. The following shop floor data collection
modules are available with Collect 2000. Labor Recording
The Labor collection module can operate in standalone mode or in
conjunction with the Time & Attendance system and is typically
used to feed work in process labor data to an ERP system. Standard
transactions
include Direct Labor to a Work order, Repetitive or Cell based Labor
and Indirect Labor. Collect Labor reporting will allow work order routing
sequence completions to be captured or alternatively an operator may
just capture time against a work order sequence and use a Material
Move transaction to record sequence completions. Inventory Recording
The Inventory module supports the following transactions: * Item Stock Status - real time look of inventory from an RF handheld
computer.
* Location Stock Status - real time look up of inventory by stocking location
* Move - record movement of inventory from one location to another with real
time validations of locations, from quantity availability, etc.
* Adjust - record inventory adjustments. Add-to, subtract-from or set-quantity
functions with reason codes.
* Cycle Count - record cycle count values and update ERP inventory.
* Physical Count - record physical counts and update ERP inventory.
* Purchase Order Receiving
* Label Print - Print product or location label on demand. Work in Process
The Work in Process module supports the recording of inventory related
transactions such as: * WIP Receipts - completions against work orders. This transaction
reduces open work order quantities and updates finished goods or component
inventory.
* Prod Receipts - this function is used for reporting completions against repetitive
plans, rather than work orders. This transaction reduces open repetitive plan
quantities and updates finished goods or component inventory.
* WIP Issues - this transaction issues materials to work orders. Work in process
is updated and raw material or component inventory is reduced. Purchase Receiving
The Purchase Receiving module supports the receipt of goods against open
purchase orders. Purchase orders can be received with immediate update
to the host ERP or they can be received to a 'staged' status, reviewed
or inspected, correction can be made and then the final receipt data
can be updated to the host ERP. Support for receipt by cross-reference
codes such as vendor part number, vendor UPC code or any other available
cross reference code is fully supported. RMA Receiving
The RMA Receiving module supports the receipt of goods against open RMA's.
The user enters the RMA number an a list of valid items to be received
is displayed. The user then selects the item to receive, enters quantity
and lot and serial numbers as appropriate and the data is sent to the
host ERP system. Advanced Shipping
Many manufacturers and light distributors are faced with customer shipment
compliance issues. Failure to ship the right product, the right quantity
or failure to label packages per customer specification can result
in significant penalties and potentially lost contracts. The Advanced
Shipping modules provides a user with a comprehensive pick, pack, label
print and ship capability that will meet the most stringent customer
compliance needs. The shipper has full control over how much 'control' they want to place
on the pick-to-ship process. Supervisory reviews can be enforced. Proceeding
from one step to another can be blocked if previous steps are not completed
correctly. The Advanced Shipping module is a prerequisite for the Shipping Documentation
module. Interplant Shipping
All of the features of the Advanced Shipping module are also available
for interplant shipping. When using the Shipping Documentation module
Bills of Lading and Packing Lists can be printed as required. Advanced Shipping Web Portal
In most ERP systems users lose visibility on the status of an order as
it enters the shipping process. From 'allocation' to 'shipped' and
order may be in shipping for hours or days. Typically once the order
has been allocated, customer service cannot easily determine status
until the order is shipped. The Advanced Shipping Web Portal allows
users to review the status of shipping activity throughout the shipping
process. Users can 'see' if the order is 'pick started', 'picked',
'confirmed', 'labels printed', 'loaded', 'load sealed' and 'shipped'.
Once the order is shipped a user can review carrier and shipment information
on-line.Shipping Documentation
The Shipping Documentation module supports printing of Bills of Lading,
Packing Slips and Customs documentation. Consolidated Bills of Lading
are automatically generated when multiple sales orders are going to
the same ship-to address. Master Bills of Lading are automatically
generated when the entire shipment is being sent to a distribution
center for redirection to the end customer. Individual or consolidated
Bills are printed for each sales order / ship-to address on the load
when the load goes out under a Master BOL. Collect Warehouse
Collect Warehouse provides warehouse management capabilities on a standalone
basis or in conjunction with a host ERP system. In standalone mode
Collect Warehouse provides the user with the capability to enter sales
orders, purchase orders and work orders. Collect Warehouse is highly
configurable in terms of warehouse space usage, allocation logic, putaway,
pick and replenishment management. From a technical perspective Collect Warehouse has been designed to
be highly configurable with little or no technical resources. Users can
create new tables or add new fields to existing tables and Collect Warehouse
will create new user interface screens or add new fields to existing
screens with a couple of key strokes. Collect Warehouse has been designed
from the ground up to be the most easily configurable and extendable
system available, without custom coding. Collect Label Manager
Making sure products and packages are properly labeled is no longer an
option with many customer, especially in the retail and automotive
sectors. Label compliance is mandatory with many customers and severe
penalties and loss of business can occur when labeling is not properly
managed. Collect Label Manager can be used in conjunction with the Collect Family
of products or it can be used in standalone mode to print customer compliance
labels. Collect Monitor
Collect Monitor is used to capture and archive machine telemetry values
or operating parameters. The user can configure machine parameters,
assign alarm parameters and receive alarm notification when machines
operate outside of the specified parameters. HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens provide real-time station status. In addition to HMI status screens, Collect Monitor provides graphical
interpretation of machine operating parameters and the ability to 'mine'
archive data for analysis purposes. Collect Process
Whereas Collect Monitor provides you with the capability to monitor and
analyze machine versus target performance parameters, Collect Process
provides the capability to configure and manage machine performance. Collect Process provides the capability set machine / station configuration
by, enter process variables and set process flow all by item being produced.
Full Event-Condition-Action process control and messaging is available. |
